Now you can take a little flour and oil or butter and brown it to make a roux. Add your salsa to the pan, bit by bit. Goes great with breakfast. I particularly like it on fried eggs. This is basically ranchero.
Extra tip: if your original salsa is too hot/spicy, you can cook it for longer to reduce the *pica*. But you might need to add water.
One more tip: you can use meat too. I most care for bbq sausage but ham works well. I think it’s traditionally done with slab bacon or pork belly.
