Made a test batch of salsa and have to say it was AWESOMELY delicious!
My ingredients (roasted):
3 Roma tomatoes
3 greeen jalapeños
6 garlic cloves
1 onion halved and quartered (probably not important)
Roasted till blackened, then blended.
Adding in cilantro, stems included, a tsp salt, with the juice of about 5 limes. It was good, but lacked spicy, so I tossed in a habanero.
Then we were off to the races and everyone loved it!
Glad I found this group!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and looking forward to 2023!!

incredible color, that’s the sort of color achieved with roasting the hell out of jalapenos , they take it, and they like it. well done
The juice of 5 limes?! That’s wild lol
Herb paste! Too much herbs mon! Go 1/4 herbs next, can always add more! Great work though, enjoy!
Roasting takes a lot of heat away. You could always add a little extra fresh peppers at the end. I’ll usually add some Serrano or Thai chili if extra heat is needed since they’re small and hot and won’t change the flavor or texture too much.
Lots of haters here not sure why, consistency and color looks amazing. Limitless salsa potential if this is your first try.
That looks sooooooo fuckin good right now, I’d drink it
Looks awesome !
