My second attempt at a salsa verde after feedback from my first attempt post a couple weeks ago. In total used 2lb tomatillo, 1 yellow onion, 6 garlic cloves, many jalapeno and serrano to kick up the heat and 1 habanero for fun. Lightly drizzled with olive oil and paced all these under broiler for 12 mins. Added to blender with 1 lime juice, a handful of cilantro and salt to taste. Difference from last post is more heat and garlic! Experimented with jarring for the first time and am hoping to adjust this recipe to give the small jars as gifts this holiday season. Thanks for all the feedback!

Did you leave out the avocado on this batch?

This looks delicious! How do you like how it turned out?
Why did you cut the tips off most of the peppers?

Thoughts on the yellow onion vs. red or white?

That looks so damn hot!

I bet that was a decently spicy salsa

That looks crazy hot. For that amount of ingredients, I would use two or three serranos. Maybe I’d pump it up to 5. I think there are about 20 there?

Want to add a little sweetness? Throwing in some pineapple chunks kicked my verde up a notch. Bam!
