I read the 3 ingredients and when I saw “serrano” I had an inside chuckle 🤠since I learned Spanish for 2years in highschool and I KNEW how it translates. A little bit about MY chili-head journey, when I was growing up (as a teenager,) I would pick and eat raw jalapenos in the garden (a 1/2 acre one, which provided variety,) and I found that the “hottest” ones were dark green RIGHT BEFORE they got a hint of red to them. After the red, they were still spicy but they mellowed a bit and got sweeter. (Chipotles as I’m sure ALL of you know are THESE. [Smoked and canned in adobo sauce.])
