    I prefer red bell peppers for my base, just sauté with onions and garlic. Then add water and roughly chopped peppers and let simmer with the top on for at least 20 min. Process with white wine vinegar and salt. My favorite sauce!

  4. I made syrup out of pretty much this same mix a few days ago, haven’t tried it yet. I had to cut it with lime juice to get it going because the water content was so low. I used the no cook method which means I cut these up and stuck em in a jar with the sugar and lime juice and just let it sit.
