Nopales are brilliant. Scottish guy engaged to a Latina and her mom brought them over. Now I want them as a side pretty much all the time. Cooked in a little bit of garlic and onion 👍🏻

Hardest part of every meal with my Mexican mother in law is saying no thanks to nopales. She gets judgmental like I’m a monster or something. But I really don’t get them, but I guess it’s an acquired taste.

Yup. I have problems with my digestive system and nopales are the only thing I can eat. Everything else causes nausea.
