I dig your style. Those thai chilis are hot. for authentic taqueria flavor add knorr or goya chicken bouillon…kind of the same principle as adding msg as another has mentioned. experiment with adding pumpkin seeds, cilantro, mexican oregano, or epazote(a little goes a long way). additionally, adding of a little neutral oil (san diego taqueria/mexican market secret) will and carry more heat to taste and change the color if emulsified… If you’re into chipotle flavor, you can get a can from your local market and throw in a pepper and some of the adobo sauce.

Salsa tastes better with friends. That’s it. That’s my tip. I’ve never made salsa. This is not medical advice, I am not a doctor.

You are missing quite a few cloves of garlic there, and some lime juice my friend…

Roast is best!

When your ingredients are too close together in the oven they’ll steam instead of roast. Try using a couple half baking sheets and give the veg more room than you think they need. They’ll caramelize or char so much better that way.

I chop a bit of it up and keep it to the side and add it after the blend for a few chunky bites.

Make sure to peel the tomatoes for more enjoyable eating, boiling then peeling helps alot

Just a bit of powdered chicken bouillon (I like Knorr) really amps up all the flavor. I also use lime, cilantro and I like to throw chopped raw onion in too after the blend (that might be sacrilege here in this sub, apologies if so).

You can add a small amount of tomato paste when blending to get a better red color to the end product

Green beans … awesome! I will add them to my next salsa experiment.

Make sure and add a tsp of vinegar.
What do you see the out come to be? In Taste, texture and and look? Do you want the salsa version from Mexico or another country ?
Well, how did it taste?
Looks like you already made it! You could try pan frying half of it to see if you like it better cooked for a second time and with the extra oil.
Did you roast everything first? I highly recommend roasting everything first.
I sometimes make a similar salsa and I like to add roasted garlic and MSG to it.
If you want a chunkier texture and are doing a smallish batch I really like using a molcajete to make mine.
I sauté some of the ingredients first, then blend, then cook the salsa in a skillet to get more flavor (and get some of the water out if you want it thicker).
