My first attempt at spicy Tomatillo Salsa, slightly different than salsa Verde. The flavor and color aren’t quite right yet, but it’s still spicy as hell and damn good!
-7 Tomatillos -1 Red Habanero -6 dried Chile de arbol (roasted) -2 Garlic Cloves (roasted) -1/4 White Onion -Salt and Sugar to tweak the taste
My attempt at what many Mexican restaurants have around here (West Virginia ) when you know how to ask for it. I love the flavor of this sauce at most places, and am trying to replicate it but spicier. This batch was just with the peppers I still had in kitchen. I would say it’s just a little bitter. Spicy enough but the flavor is still a little off. Any suggestions?
