It definitely isnât selling well. The Bell priced themselves out of the market with the dipping taco. Also, the assembly of many is abysmal.
Donât get me wrong, I and many others were a âIâll buy 1 to tryâ, but I guarantee you not many people ever went back for another round.
That taco looks like it will run right through you while setting the exit on fire.
I mean, if I’m already going to buy 1.5 quesadillas I might as well get a free dipping taco.
I got the same thing but a worse offer lmao. Buy the taco get another for half off. Ok I will spend 6 bucks for two tacos… Yeah definitely

I had one that was well made, and It’s honestly not bad. My only issue with it is the price. A local Mexican place I frequent charges 9 bucks for 3 quesabirria tacos which are not only higher quality tacos, but also cheaper than 3 of these from Taco Bell, while still somehow managing to be more food. If they could get the price of these down to like 1.50-2 bucks a pop, or have a 3 taco combo for like 7 bucks, then I could see it being very much worth it.
That being said, I’d take this offer. Bonus food is bonus food, and it’s not as if the problem with these is that they’re nasty; outside of price, it just seems that some employees have done a shitty job at making them, but I feel like that’s not the norm, from my experience.
If I’m spending $12 on a single Taco Bell order, I need to reevaluate some things.
Love the taco. It’s overpriced but the app offer is not a sign of it selling poor or whatever. When they have some new item later there will be another offer like that.

I went to TB this morning and my location doesn’t even have the dipping tacos on the menu or in the app anymore.
They still have shredded beef as an upgrade though, so that was nice.

I had an email this morning offering buy one get one half off dipping tacos now through 8/18. Might actually have to snag that deal
if it wasnt so expensive , its soooo good imo. my taco bell makes them well and i love the shredded beef. but almost $5 for one is crazy. id so take this deal lol
They should have been a meal of 2 with a chicken burrito or 3 of them with chips for like $9-14 depending on the market. And another sauce option would have been nice but the ones they came with it are fine. Would have definitely sold better
Iâve been taking my boy to the local taco truck he gets a bottled drink chicken quesadilla side of beans and a side of rice for $10!! Taco Bell is pushing us all to the mom and pop stops đ¤ˇââī¸

I like them but they are overpriced. They shouldnât be more than $2. $2.50 at the max. You can get legit authentic birria tacos for less than Taco Bellâs interpretation.

When you’re in your lane, you’re good. I’m a TB fan. But when you get out of your lane, there are 25 other Tex Mex places in my town I’d rather spend $12 at.
Iâm mad bc I tried one the other day.. then boom this offer. It was good, my Taco Bell made it well but it was 4.39 for me so not worth it
It is just one of those items nobody is happy with. Employees hate making it, customer balk at the price, and the quality of the item varies WILDLY from one order to the next. The one I ordered to try had so little cheese on the outside I thought they must have just set it in some after cooking and it got stuck there, I didnt even realize until others complained on here it was supposed to have cheese on the outside
