Hi! Can someone help me please find a recipe for this salsa!
Whenever I go to an authentic Mexican taco shop in the inner city I work in they have this sauce. I have no idea what it is but it’s spicy and delicious and wonderful.
There’s either always a language barrier that prevents me from asking or they say their Grandmom comes in every morning and makes it. I guess they just don’t wanna give out the recipe 🤷🏻♂️.
If anyone knows what it is I would appreciate it! I want to make this for my family
All I can say is it’s spicy and the texture may even be a little “chalky” but not in a bad way. And it’s on the thicker side. If any of that helps.

There is absolutely no way for anyone to tell you how to reproduce this salsa from a picture and the description you give.
There’s just way too many variables.
It looks like one of my favorites which is an Ecuadorian
aji sauce made with tomate de arbol (tree tomato).
But, it’s probably not that. I really don’t know what you’re expecting from us lol
Look up torchys orange sauce or legendary orange sauce on this sub
it’s probably chile de arbol, garlic, salt and water…maybe some vinegar
Looks similar to my recipe (posted on here), but I’m sure mine is .ore complicated.
Worth the effort. My Mexican neighbor says it’s legit.
Your best bet to replicate that is to look up taqueria style salsa de Arbol. Modify it to your tastes. Add a habanero if it’s not hot enough, vinegar if it needs acidity, strain it if you like it smoother, etc.
Part of the fun is experimenting trying to replicate salsas you like. Even if you don’t get it right, it’s still going to be delicious and you can say you made it.
Good luck!
