I tried for two days in a row to buy it, always get the “uh oh taco” error.
Plus no fiesta potatoes as an option. I guess my location isn’t selling them.

If anyone is getting barfy fart layers in this they deserve the gallows.
Except no one was ever going to buy 12 Beefy 5-Layers ala carte for $68. It’s not a strong comparison. People have posted this like it’s saving them this much money, when in reality it isn’t really how people are buying these items anyway, generally.
First off, the Taco & Burrito Cravings Pack has been on the app for years and it’s $16. $48 for 3 of them, which is 12 Beefy 5-Layers and 12 Tacos. No one would pay practically $58 for 12 Beefy 5-Layers when they could pay $48 for the same thing *and* 12 tacos more on top.
Plus.. if you didn’t actually just want a bunch of Beefy 5-Layers (I personally don’t), the BYOC Box for $5.99.. four of those for $23.96 is a comparable amount of items to this new deal, albeit not all Beefy 5-Layers. Though you get 4 Cheesy Gordita Crunches or Crunchwraps, which are better, more expensive, more filling items.
And honestly.. there are just better items to buy ala carte, anyway, like the $2 burritos, the Cheesy Bean and Rice, etc. This deal is definitely pretty decent, if you want a ton of that one item for a good value. But it’s not off the charts good compared to the deals that already exist.
Looking at this made me shit myself because I play solo on Taco Bell severs 🤣
$27 here but yeah, still a crazy deal
It’s a great “deal” sure, but for whom? How many times have you ordered TB for four people? It’s a giant dick move for them to remove the meal for two deal and replace it with the much less useful meal for four.
ULPT: I was able to use my “One Free Item” reward up to $10 value on it, so it cost me $16 total.
I get 4 of the 5-layer burritos, but I add red sauce and onions, and then I ask them to make the burrito with one tortilla; nacho cheese, sour cream, and other tortilla on the side.
I got 8 DLT’s. Used the nacho cheese and tortillas on the side to make those into double stacked tacos on 4 and the sour cream on the other 4.
2 nacho fries and 2 chips and cheese.
Amazing deal.
While this is a good deal in general, you have to pick groups of 4.
Also when they added this they took away the meal for 2 which was out go to for quite some time.
Plus if you customize and there is a cost on that customization the cost is x4, the add one add up very fast.

Taco bell adheres to the old business practice of “make shit expensive, so our bundle deals look like real steals” papa johns always does it but with sports discounts. While i worked there i alwyas felt bad for people paying full price. 16 bucks for a large pizza? That za was maybe, MAYBE $1.50 in ingredients.
