I’m not the only one who noticed right?? Taco baco clearly switch from the old white bags to these smaller brown ones that hold on average 10-15 chips or less. My go to order used to be 2 chips and cheeses and an extra cup of cheese cause what came with was never enough. Now I’m left with extra cheese without even ordering an extra cup. Somehow this does not feel like $8 worth of food. Man this worlds getting to be a sh*thole…

I feel like they only ever had 10-15 to begin with. Maybe 20. It has always been a disappointing item. Not saying it isn’t more disappointing now, just that it was never a good side.
My local has $3 loaded beef nachos. GREAT deal.
The other day I was going to also get the chips and cheese, because they give you a lot of toppings on the nachos and I wanted some extra chips.
Then I realized chips and cheese is $2.79!!
So yes, even if you get a full bag, it’s a ripoff. Seems like one of those items that you should never buy a la carte, but only intended to be thrown is as an extra for a combo box.

Chips started to be a rip off not too long ago. Its 2.79 for me but I could go to a grocery store right next to my TB and get an entire bag of tostitos with a jar of cheese dip for about $4 plus it tastes better too. TB’s *”nachos”* are always stale and guaranteed one chip at the bottom of the bag has a brick of salt on it.
Honestly it wouldn’t even be that bad if it was a dollar to a dollar and a half. But these things got their price jacked up recently by stores across the U.S. most places are nearing 2 dollars and some are even more than 2 dollars.
Almost everything at TB is a total rip off.
I don’t understand getting chips at Taco Bell. How good could they be? I go to taco bell for flavored goop in a tortilla, not chips I can get at the grocery store.
They’ve been overpriced for at least 20 years.
Never order them, fiesta potatoes are way better and part of my $5 BYO Craving Box.
Last week my boyfriend had to get on them for trying to be slick with the less meat on the tacos he didn’t let that shit slide. That shrinkflation didn’t fool us.

Why would anyone pay nearly $3 for a tiny portion of chips and cheese? You can buy a $2 bag of santitas chips and a $3 can of nacho cheese and have an order size to your liking every day for a week
You’re better off buying your own tortilla chips and cheese sauce. Not only will it save you money, but you will have better tasting nachos and also save yourself from having to post about your Live Mas experiences on Reddit.
They finally reduced the chips to go better with the tiny amount of cheese they give you. 😃
