
I’ve loved the verde from burrito places and taquerias but never tried to make it. Took a crack at it today and it came out good. Also got the reuse the Espolon Taquilla bottle. And the other 3 is just my normal weekly salsa batch.

Salsa verde
1.5 lbs tomatillos
4 serranos
3 jalapeños
1 orange habanero
7 garlic
Cilantro
Onions
Salt
Pepper
Little boiling water
Boil peppers and tomatillos 15 min
Roast onions in oven
Blend all ingredients until desired consistency
(Edit: forgot habanero)

Salsa Rojo
3 lbs toma tomatoes
1 large onion,
4 jalapeños,
2 serranos ,
Chile de guajillo ,
8 garlics ,
A whole bunch of cilantro ,
2 limes juiced ,
Salt ,
Pepper,
Cumin
Roast 1 lbs of tomatoes, all jalapeños, serranos, garlic, and onion –
Blend all together with a little water and other 2 lbs of tomatoes-
2 teaspoons cumin
Salt and pepper to your liking
