Any idea what is doing this to the leaves of my Serrano?

I’ve been growing this serrano chilli inside this pot with a fresh bag of chunky potting mix. Now all of a sudden the new growth is curling with some yellowing as you can see. It is in a large pot and has not yet been fertilised. Any thoughts as to what it could be?

I should add that it is the middle of summer where I live so we have plenty of warm weather.

Could be a bunch of things causing it but it’s deformed when it’s in the buds. Insect damage with virus, cold damage, and or micro nutrients out of wack

Possibly is a calcium deficiency or maybe your neighbor was spraying some round up and some drifted and landed on your plant. Pepper plants are very sensitive to herbicides..

In my experience that’s classic sign of pest damage particularly aphids

check for bugs in soil and on/under leaves then maybe nutrient deficient
