I found out that a Houston TX Hot Chicken restaurant opened near me and I finally had a chance to try them. Of course I went with their hottest, "Houston, We Have a Problem!" level. It was comparable to Dave's Hot Chicken reaper level (when properly prepared). The bun was softer than Dave's but the season fries weren't as crunchy. I'll get it again but soon will have a new Dave's only 1 mile from this location and will probably go their more often.
