Mole 101 question – I am making mole for the 1st time. The recipe I am following calls for 1/3 cup of chopped up Mexican chocolate. A the Mexican grocery store, all I see is powdered drink mix. I think the chocolate in mole would be bittersweet and not the sugary drink mix, right? Brands? Thanks!

I am following Rick Bayless' Beginner's Mole recipe. The video and the printed recipe only says "Mexican chocolate." It does not specify if it is sweet or not. I'm so confused.
