Smoked tomatillo salsa and a restaurant style habanero salsa.


I did a couple of salsa styles for our company Sip and Shop. The left is a tomatillo style with jalapeño, and the right is a restaurant style habanero salsa. Smoked at 250 with hickory pellets.

  1. Made about a gallon of each, so my ingredient quantities are a bit of a blur.

    Tomatillo:

    Tomatillos, roma tomatoes, yellow onion, garlic, cilantro, lime, salt and black pepper

    Habanero:

    Roma and beefsteak tomatoes, yellow onion, garlic, Serrano peppers, habanero peppers, cilantro, lime, salt and black pepper, white distilled vinegar, smoked paprika for color
