I can feel my g.e.r.d kicking in just by looking at that.

You gonna tell us the name of the restaurant where you got these enchiladas?

This isn’t actual Mexican food , this is some Tex mex bs 🤢

Looks good, but whether they tamales or not im not sure, never seen them served like that.

Honestly though–it looks like a frozen enchilada dinner. Bad boxed rice with way too much dry spice added after it was cooked. Half-cooked beans with some bagged, shredded American or cheddar thrown on, and some tomato-y, dry underneath enchiladas with sauce that’s too baked on and covered in the same bad cheese as the beans.

As a lifelong Texan, theses are enchiladas and fall into the category of Tex- Mex.

I have a restaurant nearby who serves tamales this way. I have to order them with no sauce or cheese as I like my tamales plain.

Not Mexican but the gringo enchiladas might be tasty.

Yellow cheese on “Mexican” food is always an instant red flag. This looks super off.

Ok I’ve got a question: am I the only one who stirs everything together and eats it like a stew?
