π±π« Vegan Chocolate Chili Recipe
π§ Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 bell pepper (chopped)
1 carrot (finely chopped)
1 zucchini (optional, chopped)
1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 can kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
1 can black beans (drained & rinsed)
2 cups vegetable broth

1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
Β½ tsp cinnamon (optional, but recommended)
Salt & black pepper to taste

20β30g dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher, vegan)
π©βπ³ Instructions
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onion and sautΓ© for 3β4 minutes until soft.
Add garlic, bell pepper, carrot, and zucchini. Cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to deepen flavor.
Add diced tomatoes, beans, and vegetable broth. Mix well.
Add all spices (chili powder, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, pepper).
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20β25 minutes.
Add dark chocolate and stir until melted completely.
Simmer for another 5 minutes until thick and rich.
