Habanero Carrot Sauce

8 Roma tomatoes, 1 white onion, good handful of garlic, 5 habanero, 2 small carrots. Sprayed olive oil over the pan and broiled. Added a lime, splash of apple cider vinegar, and ~2 tsp salt. I do one small dish with no chiles for the weak hearted. Good heat, maybe add another carrot next time. I’ve done ginger and a bit more vinegar in other attempts to use as more of a hot sauce.

Interesting. What do the carrots add? A bit of sweetness?

  4. I wonder how it would be with picked carrots…. I have a bunch of them because I pick out the jalapeƱos and leave them behind.

I once did this completely wrong and used like 10 habaneros but like 10 big carrots too and i don’t even think I should be able to call it salsa
