  1. Creating a less hotter jalapeño was terrible idea. A jalapeño is suppose to be hot. Now you go to the market and they have no heat and difficult to make a hot salsa. The jalapeño should have been left alone. Not any thing to be proud of.

  2. Jalapeños originated in Mexico, specifically cultivated in the region around Xalapa (Jalapa) in the state of Veracruz, dating back thousands of years. Named after this city, these peppers were historically used by the Aztecs, who also smoked and dried them to create chipotles. Today, they remain a staple of Mexican cuisine, with Mexico being the top global producer.

  3. Hands down, one of the best top ten chefs out there.
Concise, accurate, practical, makes approachable dishes,… shall I go on?

  4. Texas A&M has genetically modified jalapeño seeds for the commercial farmers/producers to raise almost bland jalapeños to increase sales marketed to caucasian consumers.

  5. Love your vids, but could you not feature the brand that that our fascist leader hawked off the resolute desk in his first term?

  6. This is why Sriracha has the perfect level of heat. Let the jalapeno ripen until it's red, mixed with garlic and sugar and it's perfect.

  7. I prefer the flavor of a Serrano pepper. They’re a bit warmer than a jalapeño, so you can use less and get the same heat and the best flavor! 😋
