Learn how to make hot and spicy Tomato Pepper Rasam at home 😋🍅🌶️

Made with simple ingredients and easy steps, anyone can try it 🏡✨
Ingredients:
– 2 Tomatoes (chopped)
– 1 tsp Cumin seeds
– 6–8 Peppercorns
– 5 Garlic cloves
– 1 Green chilli
– Tamarind water (2 tbsp)
– Salt (as per taste)
– 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
– 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
– Few Curry leaves
– Few Coriander leaves
– 1 tsp Oil
– 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
– 2 Dry red chillies
– Water (2 cups)

Step 1:
Add cumin seeds, garlic, and peppercorns into a mixer jar and grind into a coarse paste.

Step 2:
In a pan, add water, green chilli, garlic, and chopped tomatoes. Boil well.

Step 3:
When tomatoes are soft, mash them nicely using a spoon.

Step 4:
Heat oil in another pan. Add mustard seeds, dry red chillies, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.

Step 5:
Add the ground pepper paste to the tempering and mix for 1 minute.

Step 6:
Now add the mashed tomato water, tamarind juice, salt, turmeric powder, and chilli powder.

Step 7:
Mix well and boil for 3–4 minutes.

Step 8:
Add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the stove.

Step 9:
Hot and tasty Tomato Pepper Rasam is ready to serve.
