Are padron peppers more sensitive to stress factors than other peppers?

They get the same treatment as my jalapenos, ghost pepper, and share a balcony box with my Hungarian wax.

They seem to have a much higher chance of getting an edema and seem to curl their leaves much easier while all the other leaves are seemingly fine.
