Lower growlight or is it ok?

I’ve purchased a grow light for my seedlings – MarsHydro TS1000, it has just came today and I’ve set it up like this to not burn the seedlings at first. Its 60cm/23inches above my seedlings and it’s set to 20% brightness. My seedlings don’t have true leaves yet. Is this setup ok or change the grow light height or brightness? I’ve also added light reflective foil and a small fan. Let me know what do you think 🙂 thanks

Get a light meter app on your phone. Use a piece of printer paper as a diffuser. Your light is probably sitting somewhere around 4000k. So set the meter to match. Your reading will be a good 10%-15% off. But it will get you in the ball park. Then watch the plants and adjust as needed.

Looking at the specs on that light. If you bring it up to 50% and maintain 23” you should get it too about 275-325 µmol/m²/s. Which should be about right until they get more established.
