I'm about a month into growing this little guy. Until last week it was growing slowly and was a 4" plant I hadn't considered up potting yet. Then we had a heat wave and it shot up another 3-4" basically over a weekend and now it's showing buds. Is this top-heavy (like the stalk since the growth spurt is thicker than the lower part) growth normal, and should I let it keep these flowers or try to get it to grow more? It's still a tiny little plant and I don't see any signs of a large root structure yet. Definitely will be moving to a 3-5 gal pot when I get the chance now.

Leave it to its own devices let it do what it’s going to do if you can find a small stick with kind of a y end on it you could use that to help prop it up, they love the heat mine shot up like crazy over the last two weeks because it’s been so hot here. Also get it to a bigger pot as soon as possible
