For years I’ve been pressing masa between the pages of a cookbook, today I finally bought a tortilla press and it has made life so much easier!

It is chile colorado, frijoles charros, avocado, and homegrown tomatillo salsa for anyone who may be interested.

I want to see the cook book tortillas not the tortilla press ones lol

That tortilla looks really nice. Excellent job! 👌

Suggestion for future self. If abuelita is using it, you should too.

  6. They look good to me. I’m still using a cut up baggie and a cast iron pan. (I like that you can see the emblem in the tortillias.) :).

    Edit: ok now I’m hungry.

Looks good but your tortilla looks a tad on the dry side. I would add a little more liquid in to the masa. What kind of tortilla press did you get? I have always had one of the old cast iron ones and recently upgraded to the one from Masienda. It’s amazing!
