I have been watching mexican telenovelas and in those telenovelas there are alot of nice desserts, biscuits like in the photos that i posted . I want to ask if someone maybe know what are those? In the first picture they are like little sponge cakes?

They look like hojaldre (puff pastry) biscuits to me.

Tbh they look like generic baked goods production found for cheap at any bakery (perhaps the Superama bakery back in the day) in the first picture.
And I’m pretty sure the second picture they are the assorted cookies from craft service. Perhaps a Surtido de Marián. Nothing special.
You must take into account that telenovelas were shot for as little money as possible, sometimes with a hilariously low attention to detail. And in the 90s people couldn’t even look that closely to the details on their TV because of the broadcasting resolution.
Looks delicious but Ariadne Diaz makes everything look better.
