I love them, but they don’t travel. A Taco Bell taco is like a new car, you start losing value as soon as you leave the parking lot.

yea its weird how soft tacos get hard and hard tacos get soft nothing gold can stay

It’s true. The shells get soggy so damn fast. Even a short drive home isn’t enough to save it

I have this issue anytime I order some to go. I never eat them because they are soggy at the bottom. 😩

I never understand how people don’t understand this. You get a crunchy shell and throw hot, moist meat in there and of course it isn’t going to have a proper shelf life of more than a few minutes.

So true. Have to eat crunchy tacos fast.

Depends on how close you live. My Taco Bell is only .5 miles away so fresh Crunchy Tacos can make it home. But you still need to eat them right away, then.

That’s just common sense

yeah the new eco/health conscious packaging tends to do this. my tb is literally 3 min from my house and tacos still stick damn near every time, never happened w the old material.
the biggest loss from the change imo is the quesadilla. the plastic window was designed to steam it as a part of the cooking process, as well as help retain heat. now that that’s gone the tortilla is a good bit tougher.
costco hot dogs have met a similar fate since they went from the old foil wrapping to a parchment bag. the bun doesnt get steamed in the packaging and it goes cold much faster.
im all for having more ecofriendly packaging and having less pfas bpa etc leached into my food, but hopefully they find ways too match the benefits of the packaging of the past. feature wise its a major downgrade.

Nah I only get them to go and they are fine 99% of the time. Granted, one taco bell is 2 minutes from work and the other is two minutes from home. And I get stabby if people come between me and my taco time.

I bet the top half of that shell is plenty crunchy still. You just have to play your bite accordingly
