It’s now an extra dollar to choose chips and cheese on the chalupa box. Everything with chips is getting ridiculous, Nachos Bellgrande is $5.99 and chips and cheese is $2.29. There’s no way I could justify those items at those prices. The Nachos Bellgrande has nearly doubled in price in just a few years. Inflation has definitely risen, but not nearly by that much. Yum Brands is killing Taco Bell’s cheap and satisfying reputation

This is very location specific and has nothing to do with yum brands. I’ve seen chips and cheese for $1 recently and I’ve seen the for $2.99. Shit happens, don’t buy them if you don’t like the price

Prices are controlled at the franchise level…and 90% of TB’s are franchised so…..yea.
At my TB chips and cheese are the standard. You can’t even get the cinnamon twists. I would love the sweet ending 😭
