I have a grow tent, but after battling aphids and whiteflies my first season using it, I use it differently now, not quite year round.
I do not use the tent to overwinter plants. Too risky regarding pests. I start from seeds again. Also, I wait until winter has killed off the aphids outside, because otherwise they seem to always find a way in.

I grow year round too but I don’t over winter, too risky.
I got a small 100w mars hydro to start them and later use that light for leafy greens.
I got a 380w for everything else. I started by growing weed when it was legal where I live then switched to pepper. So much healthier and simpler too. I love it and have grown for 5 years now. <3
