Hello, folks. One morning recently, my insomnia got the better of me and I wound up spending more time than I should just studying the Taco Bell app 🤣
I set out to construct my ideal veggie burrito. It would be filling enough that one is a meal. It would include both types of beans, rice, tomatoes, potatoes. No meat or dairy.
I managed to find at least 6 ways to build my order.
I understand the price differences. I was more surprised by the calorie differences. A few are under 500c while the rest are around 600 calories. What can you tell me about quantities of each of these ingredients?
Are there different tortilla sizes? Or different guidelines on how to prepare these?
Here are the ways I found to build my massive veggie burrito. I considered buying all of these and doing a taste test! 🤣 But it would be way easier to ask Reddit-land.
1. Grilled Cheese Burrito / Swap Black Beans – cheese sauce – sour cream – cheese blend – Chipotle Sauce – Fiesta Strips + Tomatoes + Beans + Potatoes = $6.57 and 470cal
2. Black-bean Grilled Chesse Burrito – cheese sauce – sour cream – cheese blend – Chipotle Sauce – Fiesta Strips + Tomatoes + Beans + Potatoes = $6.57 and 470cal
3. Bean Burrito / Fresco Style – Red Sauce – Onions + Potatoes + Rice + Black Beans = $4.27 and 590cal
4. Beefy 5-layer burrito / Swap beef for potatoes / Fresco Style + Rice + Black Beans = $5.78 and 620cal
5. Cheesy Bean and Rice burrito / Fresco Style + Black Beans + Potatoes = $1.89 and 570 calories
6. Fiesta Veggie Burrito / Fresco Style – Guac – Fiesta Strips + Potatoes + beans = $3.35 and 610cal
7. Not a burrito, but I could also get:
Spicy Potato Soft Taco / Fresco Style + Beans + Rice + Black Beans = $2.68 and 400cal

I noticed an odd thing playing with your CBR option.
Starting from the standard CBR, selecting Fresco leaves the calories at 420. But if you don’t select Fresco and instead delete Nacho Cheese Sauce, delete Creamy Jalapeno Sauce, and Add tomatoes, the calories drop to 320.
A life without meat is not worth living.
It was so bland. I tried it today. A disappointment
