I was excited to see that Fresco Style was back, but on my past few (small) orders with Fresco items I noticed that the actual amount of the cart changed after I went to pay, like $1-2 more than it had shown initially. I was annoyed but hungry so let it slide.
Today I played around with it and there is definitely an issue. Like if I do the Build Your Own Meal for 4 with twelve Fresco Style Bean Burritos and Fresco Style potatoes, it’s $24.99 on the subtotal but $36.99 on the actual total. Is this a glitch or is it permanent? If the latter, I am super agitated because this feels super sneaky.

Yup started like 2 months ago, it’s 65 cents per burrito here. I just dont add it and my taco bell builds it with tomato’s anyway. It’s show’s free until it’s on the checkout page for me.
Yeah, I stopped doing it almost a year ago because they started charging for the tomatoes. Removing cheese and sour cream definitely makes up for the cost of a few measly tomatoes.
It still seems free at my nearest location. I just ordered.
Shitty. Says it’s free for me too but then adds the charge at the end. Seems that it’s removing all dairy and then charging for adding tomatoes. It might not be intentional considering the price only gets updated at the end.
