Who remembers when Taco Bell actually served Mexican tacos like pork carnitas, steak carne asada and chicken asada

Here’s a commercial for the pork carnitas there are other commercials and yes in English but I can’t find them with pork carnitas grilled chicken asada and steak asada they came out way before 2010. And the entire menu you can choose to substitute the meat with the cantina meat

My memory of what I’m about to say is somewhat vague, but I feel as though it was circa 2010 (or perhaps within a couple years earlier) that Taco Bell had Mexican Street Tacos and shredded pork (carnitas) and shrimp were two of the options. I believe they had traditional small, soft corn tortillas. I tried the items once and I remember not liking the pork. It’s basically unheard of for me to not like something from Taco Bell.

I suppose it’s possible these items were being tested instead of being a nationwide LTO.
