

How’d I do? Garnished with cabbage, radish, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, homemade fermented hot sauce and tortilla strips.
I may have simmered the pork too long as it shredded rather than staying chunky. And the dried chiles I used were a bit brittle so probably not the best quality, but shopping for ingredients can be difficult in Alaska.
I’ve never had it before, let alone cooked it myself so I don’t have anything to compare to. Tasted good to me!
