Before 7 trillion dollars were printed and injected into the economy*

  2. Darisixnine

A few of those prices are still the same in my area but some have definitely gone up

  3. True-Solid-4298

Idk if it’s this post or the extra onions I ordered with my crunchwrap but I’m getting a little misty here….

  4. bottomdasher

So…a bunch of prices that were still too high?

  5. SadLaser

These are actually what almost all the prices are at my location now, with just a few exceptions. Like the Nachos Bellgrande is slightly more expensive at $5.49 and the Chicken Quesadilla is $4.79.

Had to be during or post Covid. Limited menu compared to pre-covid and no Shredded chicken menu items. Covid killed the good chicken unfortunately.

CGC hasn’t gone up very much. Inflation isn’t stagflation. Taco Bell has always been more expensive than the other fast food chains. They can be. They’re unrivaled on the east coast

  8. Bcatfan08

Thought they were lower. A lot of that isn’t much cheaper.

  9. doctor_who7827

Not much of a difference from now tbh

  10. Wilmore99

In my area the cheesy Gordita crunch went down since Covid apparently. 😅

  11. insanehypersniper

The combo prices are the closest matches

  12. oojiflip

Huh, I actually thought the UK was fairly expensive, but looking at this now these are about our prices, albeit in GBP

  13. lewisfairchild

Bean burrito is still about that price.

  14. ConferenceUpstairs16

Looks close to what mine currently are. Lol maybe 10-20 cent difference

  15. tigerman29

I can get a bean and rice burrito for $1.19. Prices are about the same. Have they gone up? Yes, but what bugs me about this sub is some people don’t know how to order if saving money is the goal. They order the newest item thing on the menu and bitch about it’s price. If you can’t afford a $10 meal, get a couple things off the value menu. I’ve found you can be trendy or cheap, but usually not both at the same time without a coupon.

  16. goldengarden95

4.69 for 4 little skimpy slices of a folded tortilla, chicken and cheese, is fuckin wild.
It’s like they raises the quesadilla price just cause

  17. melatoninmogul

I have never understood why a supreme taco is $2.50. I can get a better quality authentic taco for $1-$2 at a food truck near me. Taco Bell was always supposed to be the cheap option

  18. OffManWall

Yeah, that’s still too expensive. The prices started going up before the pandemic, and they just haven’t stopped.

  19. Suspicious_Search849

Looks the same as my local prices tbh

  20. Unhappy_Quarter154

They were still bad by then… Christ $8 for a chicken quesadilla

  21. Individual_Respect90

Question though. Where do you live?

  22. Fearless-Ad5929

Actually crazy, I remember my buddy used to always get 3 crunchy tacos n they used to be 3.50ish after tax, like 2019/2020

  23. Thanks, I hate it. I was looking at my old email receipts from when the first Taco Bell app first launched and prices were so cheap.

  24. Ok-Section-7633

Daaang I’m surprised people saying it’s no different where they are. A bean burrito is almost 4 bucks here, nachos are like 8 now. Burrito supremes are my fav but I just can’t justify the quality for $6 compared to other places anymore. I’m in ca

  25. LilacGooseberries

Yeah there’s not a huge difference here where I live lol. Most of these are still close.

  26. Electronic_Ease_3102

and i thought the chalupa was expensive back then

  27. Shronkydonk

I have the menu card for the crispy chicken taco box. $7.49 for the taco, burrito, a chalupa, chips and a drink. Best goddamn box ever.

  28. satanic-lemon-lime

is it cool.. that I work at a tacobell with prices almost exactly like that

  29. dingos8mybaby2

I just miss $0.79 tacos. Taco Bell, please make Tuesday a day where app users redeem a coupon for 3 tacos for $0.79 each. I would be very grateful.

  30. baobaobooboo

These prices were fairly high even before the pandemic. Depends on where you live.

  31. donmagicjuan365

The prices of the bean burrito and crunchy taco nearly doubled

  32. beanpastemcgee

Arby’s and Burger King are even worse.

  33. smyles07

Yeah, I agree, these prices still are pretty shitty. I demand the return of the one dollar cheesy bean and rice burrito!!!

  34. Who is actually shocked that any US corporation has jacked up their prices simply because they can? All US corporations are reporting RECORD PROFITS. Which means, their prices are higher arbitrarily, absent of any change in supply costs. They’re all doing this to make up for profits they list during the pandemic. And probably have already made up for those losses, but why would they lower any prices? There’s literally nobody stopping them from price-gouging.

  35. Even then some of the prices were too high. I remember in 2008 or 2009 the 5 layer was part of the 99 cent value menu… Plus, Baja sauce was a thing. Now I’m sad.

  36. Cuuchiefortnite

Same price in my area taco bell is cheap here still
