Today I’m sharing a simple and tasty recipe. This is a beginner friendly and quick recipe that you can prepare at home with basic ingredients. Mirchi Bhaji (also known as Mirchi Pakora or Stuffed Chilli Fritters) is a popular Indian street food loved for its spicy, crispy, and flavorful taste. Made with large green chilies stuffed with a tangy potato or masala filling, dipped in a seasoned gram flour (besan) batter, and deep-fried until golden and crunchy, this snack is perfect for rainy evenings or tea-time cravings. The outer layer turns beautifully crisp, while the inside remains soft and mildly spicy, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Ingredients :-
Mirch – 250 g.
For aloo stuffing :-
Oil – 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Chopped onion – 1 (medium size)
Boiled potato – 5 (medium size)
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Amchur powder – 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri lal mirch – 1 tsp
Lal mirch – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaf
For batter :-
Besan – 1 & 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/4 th tsp
Hing – a pinch
Lal mirch – 1/2 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water as required
Hot oil – 1 tbsp
Oil for fry
