🌶️ Makhani Red Chilli Chicken Recipe (with Gravy)
A delicious, spicy and buttery chicken curry that’s rich in flavor and perfect with rice or roti!
📝 Ingredients
For Masala Paste:
1 tbsp oil
2 large onions (approx. 150g, roughly chopped)
1 medium-large tomato
8–10 cashews
10 dry red chillies (regular, for heat)
For Cooking Chicken:
1 tbsp oil
1 sliced onion
500g chicken (medium-small pieces)
Salt to taste
¼ tsp turmeric powder
3 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1–2 green chillies (slit)
2 tsp chicken masala (or 1–2 tsp garam masala)
½ tsp black pepper powder
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1.5 cups water (for gravy)
1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
Juice of ½ lemon
Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
