These leaves are unusually wide for the costco sweet pepper plants I’m growing. My mom claims she fed it poached egg water but I’m suspicious of her claims. Should I keep the seeds to stablize and see if I can do anything with this trait if it is genetic?

Carolina Reaper in a 25gal. No eggs.
Back right is cayenne with thin leaves. Different types of peppers have different growth traits is all.
