So, I’m admittedly new to making this distinction but based on research and recent experience I would say from the matte, pointed leaves, the fruits only growing one per node, and the fruit and stem shape itself that you unfortunately have been dun dun dun…shroomed.
I can also say, having been fooled by the “scotch bonnet” seeds I planted this year, sometimes what you get is not a total lost cause. Mine still packed heat and actually I’ve come to appreciate the flavour. Maybe not ideal for jerk but still tasty.
Edit: Just realized you said habanero not scotch bonnet. I still think you have what looks like a species of annuum to me, but as stated I’m not an expert on this.
Edit 2: Downvote making me question if what I have is actually a chinense of some kind hah. It look just like yours. And packs some real heat. Different taste from the red habs I have tho. Anyone know if orange habs taste much different from red habs?..or maybe I have red habs that I’m just not letting mature? Either way, I’ll show myself out.

What it mean when people say have I been shroomed
