BTS sets record with 2-day sellout crowds at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. And they ate well, too
Thames Street Oyster House and Ekiben host BTS while band was in Baltimore for concerts
BALTIMORE —
The biggest band in the world just set a new record in Maryland and appears to have really enjoyed a Fells Point restaurant.

BTS sold out two nights at M&T Bank Stadium in Downtown Baltimore, with more than 140,000 people attending both shows — that’s the highest two-day attendance in the stadium’s history.
So, where did the K-pop group eat while in Baltimore?
Thames Street Oyster House revealed in an Instagram post that it hosted the group not once, but twice while the band was in town.
The restaurant’s team thanked the band for giving them a shout-out from the stage, and the next time BTS comes to Baltimore, Thames Street Oyster House will pick up the tab for their dinner.
And the group also dined at Ekiben, whose owner, Steve Chu, thanked the band for “blessing us with your energy.”
The immersion into Baltimore’s community didn’t stop there. Ahead of the concerts, the band’s fanbase, known as BTS ARMY, combined their excitement with community service and fundraising efforts in the city. They even raised more than $17,000 for a Baltimore nonprofit that supports youths.
BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’
The world tour started in early April and ends in March 2027, encompassing 34 regions with 79 live shows across Asia, North America, Europe, South America and Australia, according to BigHit Music.
The North American tour will include 28 shows in 12 cities that started in April in Tampa, Florida, and runs through September, ending in Los Angeles.
The tour follows an almost four-year hiatus, as all seven members of BTS — RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope — completed South Korea’s mandatory military service.
Last summer, the group teased a world tour and announced that a new album would be released in the spring of 2026.
The 2026 album will mark the group’s first since 2022’s anthology, “Proof,” its 2021 Japanese compilation album “BTS, the Best,” and its last studio album, “Be,” released in 2020.
