Frank SulkowskiSTATESBORO, Ga. —

Raising Cane’s is opening its first Statesboro restaurant on Monday, Aug. 24, at 24087 U.S. Highway 80.

The new restaurant will employ about 165 crew members, with positions including cashiers, customer service associates, and fry cooks. Starting pay is $15 per hour, according to the company.

“We are excited to continue growing our presence in Georgia, and Statesboro is the perfect place for our newest restaurant,” Restaurant Leader Joey Baylor said. “Our crew is thrilled to become a part of this vibrant community by creating new jobs, building lasting relationships and serving our craveable chicken finger meals.”

An opening-day celebration will include giveaways and community activities. Customers who arrive early may enter for a chance to win free Raising Cane’s meals for a year.

The restaurant’s menu centers on cooked-to-order chicken fingers served with Cane’s Sauce, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw prepared daily.

Raising Cane’s said the Statesboro location will support area schools, sports teams, and nonprofit organizations through fundraisers, sponsorships, and community partnerships.

Founder Todd Graves opened the first Raising Cane’s restaurant in 1996. The chain, named after Graves’ yellow Labrador, has since expanded to more than 1,000 locations across over 40 states. The company plans to open nearly 100 restaurants in 2026.
