Former Jupiter Medical Center employee arrested in Tennessee sexual assault case
A former Jupiter Medical Center employee is facing rape and sexual battery charges in Tennessee after investigators say he sexually assaulted two patients while working as a social worker at a Nashville hospital.

Robert Bailey was arrested this week at Jupiter Medical Center, where he had been employed as a social worker. He is facing extradition to Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
The TBI began investigating Bailey in June 2025 after receiving allegations of sexual misconduct involving patients at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Investigators say their investigation found evidence that Bailey sexually assaulted two patients between September 2024 and April 2025.
A Davidson County grand jury indicted Bailey last month on one count of rape and one count of sexual battery.
Authorities say Bailey will be taken back to Tennessee and booked into Davidson County Jail.
The TBI says there may be additional victims and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
Jupiter Medical Center confirmed Bailey had been employed by the hospital but said the allegations do not involve care provided there.
In a statement, the medical center said Bailey has been terminated and that it is cooperating with authorities.
“The safety, dignity, and trust of our patients remain our highest priorities,” the statement said. “Because this is an active legal matter, we are limited in what we can say at this time, but we will continue to follow all appropriate procedures and cooperate with the authorities involved.”
Centennial Medical Center and Jupiter Medical Center have both cooperated with investigators, according to authorities.
