The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. and is scheduled to take place on Manchamanteles’ patio, weather permitting. Programming will move indoors in the event of inclement weather.
The $50 brunch package includes potato flautas, mole ribs and churros, along with a Marz beer flight featuring Manchamanteles Maíz Dorado, Tiger IPA and Chicagoland Lager. Additional Marz beers will be available for purchase during the event.
The collaboration also includes a Marz x Manchamanteles THC Paloma for $13, a live DJ set and a merchandise giveaway. Manchamanteles’ regular menu will remain available during the event.
In addition to the brunch, Manchamanteles is serving Chiles en Nogada during Mexican Independence Month. The traditional dish is associated with Mexican Independence celebrations and is typically prepared with a stuffed poblano chile, walnut-based sauce and garnishes representing the colors of the Mexican flag.
