Chili’s has been enjoying quite the hot streak lately, and its latest menu addition looks to keep that momentum going. The casual dining chain is giving its Big Crispy chicken sandwich an Italian-American makeover with the new Chicken Parm Big Crispy, which sounds like a pretty solid excuse to get acquainted with some fried mozzarella.
The sandwich features a crispy chicken breast filet topped with Chili’s now legendary Fried Mozzarella and some marinara sauce, all tucked into a toasted bun. And because apparently that wasn’t enough comfort food for one sitting, it comes with fries, white cheddar mac & cheese, and sides of marinara and house-made ranch. A chicken parm sandwich with mac & cheese on the side? I respect the commitment.
The Chicken Parm Big Crispy officially launches nationwide on October 20, but Chili’s decided to give three cities an early taste: Florence, Kentucky; Rome, Georgia; and Venice, Florida.
Notice the pattern?
Since chicken parmesan is an Italian-American favorite, Chili’s figured it would be fitting to debut the sandwich in American cities that sound like they belong on an Italian vacation itinerary. Never mind that you’re actually in Kentucky, Georgia, or Florida. The names check out, and sometimes that’s all you need.
With its recent run of attention-grabbing menu additions, Chili’s seems perfectly content to keep giving people new reasons to stop by. And if this latest creation is any indication, the chain is leaning into the kind of unapologetic comfort food that makes you forget you were originally just going to order something light.
The Chicken Parm Big Crispy arrives at Chili’s restaurants nationwide on October 20, 2026.
