Received some er jing tiao peppers in a CSA haul recently! Haven’t seen these peppers fresh anywhere near me aside from through this CSA. I love how fragrant dried Chinese peppers are in China and haven’t been able to replicate a lot of my favorite dishes, so gave germinating these a try. It’s my first time growing any vegetables.
Started germinating around Sept 9th -> today, Oct 19th. So fun to see the growth!

Nice! I grew some this year and they were my favorite of the varieties that I grew. Lots of flavor and great whether they’re fresh, dried, pickled, etc.
