I never thought to put a turnip in my hot sauce. What does that bring to the party? We have been adding some mustard seed to our sauces as an emulsifier. Totally works. Doesn’t take much to work and doesn’t affect the flavor as far as I can tell.
Make sure you’re able to gas properly. The tube should not touch the brine.
