The following arrests were made recently by local police departments. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Massachusetts’ privacy law prevents police from releasing information involving domestic and sexual violence arrests with the goal to protect the alleged victims.

• Shaun Vernon Brown, 56, 69 Whitney St., Nashua; two counts of second-degree assault (bodily injury on person younger than 13).
• Joseph William Lockwood, 50, 398 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua; out of town warrant.
