I asked one a diablo and fire sauce at the drive thru a couple nights ago and the dude literally two handed into the bin and gave me like 40. Like as much as he could possibly hold.

No see, this isnt wasteful. This is preparation for when they stiff you on the sauce packets and you barely have half the sauce you need, if they even remembered to give it to you

Taco Bell worker here. When somebody asks for sauce in the drive thru we usually just put down 1 sauce, unless they ask for a specific number. When we see one, that means they just asked for a general amount of that sauce. When someone only orders one sauce in an online order, autopilot brain can end up putting more in there!
