Help with rice.


For some reason rice is the hardest thing for me. Whatever I seem to do it always turns out mushy or or watery.

1 cup White rice
2 cups(sometimes a little less) of water
I brown it in oil and wait for it to brown.

Add water, tomato sauce and spices and stir it all in boil it for a minute or so and leave it on simmer for about 12 ish minutes.

I even let it steam for another 10 or so with the lid on and no heat.
