What do we think?

These have been slow going in my basement (planted march 1) Repotted in happy frog and gave them a little grow big last watering. Seeing some improvement but wondering if these will be too small by the time growing season comes around (about 3 weeks out) Giving a little sun today since it’s warm.

Sounds like you’re around Zone 6 b. If that’s the case, I used to start mine in trays around January 1 in a grow tent, then transplant around mid March into Styrofoam cups, bottom watering. Come Memorial Day, outside they went after a week’s hardening off period. They varied in size, but they were much bigger by then. I don’t think there’s much you can do now in 3 weeks, so I would stay the course and as long as they are hardened off, I think you’ll do just fine. I know it’s a hot peppers sub, but for example, this year, I had a tomato that was just like yours. Right after hardening off and transplanting outside, it said hey I’m dying, get rid of me! Today, it’s about 4 feet tall and pushing out fruit. It shows size doesn’t matter. It’s adaptation that does. Good luck! Happy to hear from others.
